Nebraska Interpretation Services is committed to delivering personalized communication services to community members. As a locally-owned agency, they recognize the importance of cross-cultural communication and work diligently to foster understanding among individuals who speak diverse languages.

 

NATI is a non-profit organization and the members on the Board of Directors are volunteers, working year-round to meet the language needs of agencies, Limited English Proficient individuals, translators, and interpreters in Nebraska. It is due to your sponsorship and support that NATI is able to offer the Annual Conference, and advocate for the needs and rights of those providing and receiving language access and services in Nebraska.

Nebraska Chief Justice Michael Heavican announced August 14, 2023, as the day the Judicial Branch has set aside to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Language Access in the Courts across the state.

Heavican declared the anniversary during a proclamation signing ceremony in the District Court at the Colfax County Courthouse in Schuyler. The ceremony was a featured event during the Chief Justice’s 2023 Summer Tour the second full week in August.
