Fermín García, Ph.D. (Omaha)

Fermín García was born in Madrid, Spain. He is the Spanish Program Director and Assistant Professor of Spanish at College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. He has taught courses in Spanish in all levels of Spanish Language and Literature. His publications and presentations encompass Golden Age, Medieval Spain and 20th Century Spanish film. His most recent publication is in the picaresque novel. He has developed a new analytical method that permits investigation of the possible violent relationships on the diegetic as well as the extradiegetic level of the novel. Fermín García holds a B. A., M. A. and Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
